Wednesday 9:30 - 11am
Private one to one Restorative Yoga classes. Restorative yoga is nourishing and supportive. Props, such as cushions and blankets are used to encourage relaxation by allowing you to 'give in' and 'let go'. Restorative yoga can help when we feel exhausted and depleted, as it can leave us feeling relaxed and recharged with energy.

Wednesday 9:30 - 11am
This playful, but strong class combines the physical and mindful aspects of both Yoga and Qigong in a slow paced, flowing moving meditation. No previous experience of Qigong is necessary, but a basic knowledge of common yoga postures is very helpful for this class. The class will end with a guided relaxation.
Wednesday 7-8:30pm
A Gentle class suitable for all abilities. This class involves no getting up and down from the floor, everything is done either standing or sitting on a chair. We will slowly move through a joint mobilisation series, and then onto some mindful qigong practices. The final 15-25 minutes of the class is for socialising, with hot drinks available and the opportunity to chat with the fellow participants.
Friday 9:30-10:30am
A gentle practice that focuses on regaining strength and tone postnatally. Each class will be designed to re-discover the core and pelvic floor, as well as giving mums some much needed 'me-time'. A very important aspect of this class is being a part of a community of new mums. Practicing yoga with your baby can be very special for both of you!
Fridays 11:30-12:30pm
The menopause can feel isolating and scary for many women. Great changes occur during this transitional period of our lives and this Menopausing Moon Club is one way of meeting others going through similar experiences, sharing, empowering and uniting in a relaxed, compassionate environment. Please note; there is no pressure to speak if you wish not to.
Following the women's circle, we will move into a Menopause Yoga class. This type of yoga combines knowledge from both eastern and western traditions, medical science and complementary therapies and specially adapts yoga poses, breathing techniques and meditation to help women manage their menopause symptoms. The yoga will be uplifting but also relaxing and suitable for all abilities, even absolute beginners.

Yin yoga by candle light to create some time and space for inner reflection, tranquillity, and to feel nourished.
This slow, floor based class is designed to give the body and mind permission to let go and relax. Open to everyone, even if you're a complete beginner.

A lovely way to start your weekend! This class is deliciously slow and fluid, with an emphasis on mindfulness, the breath, lengthening and strengthening the muscles, and of course relaxation!
Saturday 9:30-10:30am
A small, friendly class suitable for women in their 2nd and 3rd trimesters.
There will be a strong emphasis on relaxation, flowing movement, embodiment and empowerment to guide students through their pregnancy, and also into labour and motherhood. We will use yoga and mindfulness to learn how to listen to, and trust our changing bodies. Each class will also include pelvic floor awareness and toning/relaxing exercises, awareness of optimal foetal positioning, tips for labour and exploration of labour positions, breathwork (pranayama), meditations and a guided relaxation.
Saturday 11-12:30pm
A small, friendly, non-competitive class where teens can embrace yoga for its ability to enhance strength and flexibility, calm the mind, and aid in relaxation. Students will learn techniques that they can use at home, at school, before/during exams etc, that may reduce anxiety and lead to a more positive appreciation of themselves.
This class is suitable for young people aged 12 and over.
Saturday 3:45-4:30pm
A monthly two hour class devoted to mindfulness and relaxation through qigong and restorative yoga.
This class is accessible for everyone, and provides you with the opportunity to recharge and reset - physically, mentally and emotionally.
Selected Sundays 6-8pm
In-person classes are held at Ginger Yoga Yurt (Bettisfield), Loppington Village Hall and Wem Town Hall, reaching yogis from locations such as Ellesmere, Whitchurch, Oswestry, Wrexham, Market Drayton, Shawbury and Shrewsbury.
Here is a picture of the inside of my newly constructed yoga yurt! The yurt offers a more intimate yoga experience, with class sizes ranging from one-to-ones up to eight people.
